Darrent Williams 1982-2007

I was truly saddened this morning when Gene Lavanchy mentioned the shooting death of Denver Bronco Darrent Williams. I spend so much time watching, reading about, and discussing football that it feels like I know these players personally. When someone as young and talented as Mr. Williams is senselessly killed, it’s so depressing and tragic.

I just hope this tragedy can serve as a wake up call to guys like Chicago’s Tank Johnson.
