My anxiety level is skyrocketing as it is almost the deadline for filing with the IRS. All my forms are somewhere on my accountant’s desk - I hope she’s at least looked at ‘em. I think all those H&R Block commercials with frantic people stressed out from the impending deadline are adding to my anxiety. Yes, H&R Block, we all know you’re season is about to end. Please, don’t remind me!
Hopefully the IRS won’t screw me up the rear like they did last year (I’m a poet and I didn’t know it). In addition to my 1099, I have two W-2 forms and I did pay out A LOT in income taxes. I’m estimating a $500 bill to the U.S., and $300 to good ol’ Massachusetts. Of course, that is only a guesstimate based on what I was forced to pay last year. If my site isn’t updated for weeks, you’ll know that the actual bill was much higher and I ultimately jumped off the Tobin Bridge.
until I visit the Patriots Hall of Fame!

Use turbotax, fast , quick and easy. I filed last Monday and got my state tax back Friday. Federal, well Bush has to make his money off my refund first.
I tried to use Turbotax last year, thanks to the fucking 1099, it said I owed $2500. Thankfully, my accountant knew all the tax deductions I qualify for. Next year I won’t get another 1099 so hopefully I can go back to Turbotax (and get a return!)
