For shits and giggles, I chose a word for The 2,000 Word Project. [via Chris Chen]

For my word, I chose “FOOTBALL”. Before you start thinking, “Classic Angela. You’re so predictable,” I chose this word for something more meaningful. Geez, cut me some slack here!

Anyway, I chose this word because football is not merely some sport to me. I’m not talking about my obsession with the game itself but rather, about the time I get to spend with my dad. Football has become our main topic of discussion since he taught me everything he knows about the game. Every Sunday is Daddy-Daughter Day.

And that is why I chose “Football.”
