Happy Earth Day, to my sister Kristina. You see, Kristina is an Environmental Scientist. Yes, for real, my sister is a scientist. Right now, she is working as a field chemist for a company that cleans up hazardous wastes, mostly from university labs like Harvard Medical and M.I.T. Who would’ve thunk it: my baby sister, the new and improved Captain Planet.
Everyday, she rants about dirty power plants, ignorant SUV drivers and high cancer rates.
Today, in honor of Earth Day, and to keep my sister from complaining for at least a little while, try and live a little green. Maybe, walk the two blocks to the store instead of drive or something.

HAPPY EARTH DAY. I didn’t do anything dramatic. I just did simple things like not using the dryer unless it’s full, taking shorter showers, and instead of driving to the convenient store (which is about four blocks away), I walked there. & oh lord, i drive an SUV.
I think you can get away with the SUV because my sister, lil miss environment, or Alyson Gore as I like to call her, takes 45 minutes showers and has a tendency to leave every light on in the house. Yep, I spilled her secret.
