I have discovered a land in which there is light traffic on the roads, no lines in the stores, and no teenagers to be seen… that land is Daytime Land and I want to move there permanently!
I know I have complained about my new schedule in the past (cramming 35 hours into three days), but I am really enjoying have two weekdays off. I still spend all day Thursday thinking it is Friday, which just makes Friday a BONUS DAY! I think it makes a miserable Tuesday & Wednesday worthwhile.
This morning I was able to go to Target, the grocery store, fill my gas tank, and get home all in the same amount of time it would take me to just drive down the street in the afternoon or weekend.
Sure, Daytime land has an abundance of elderly people, but most carpool and I like old people anyway. I really missed my weekdays.
