You know, it’s sad when you read about someone dying but I think there is a different type of sadness when you hear of firefighters dying in the line of duty. Reading the paper this morning was painful.

5 to “Sadness”

  1. Just now finished reading through the article on Warren. I can’t begin to imagine how horrible this is for everyone. My step daughter was an EMT and at one point a Firefighter here in Washington, NC.

  2. Rich O says:

I think everyone has a friend who’s a fire fighter in a town or city where not much happens as far as fires go and we like to joke with them about getting paid to sit around and wait for something to happen. BUT the reality is much like 911 or the Worcester tragedy, these guys are running into situations everyone else is running away from. It truly takes a special breed

It is very sad indeed Ang!

It is really sad. I remeber just a few weeks ago it brought tears in my eyes when I heard of the firefighters in Charleston. It is very sad but inspiring when you think of these brave men and hear their stories. God blees them all.

It’s so sad, I have a hard time even looking at my website now with their pictures on it.

  5. NothingMan says:

Ugh, that is sad :-( It is hard to look at them, you’re right.
