Laborious Day

Posted on September 03, 2007 by Angela

I remember when I was little, I always thought “Labor Day” had something to do with giving birth.

I’ll spare everyone the usual “I’m working on a Monday holiday” rant, but I’m again working on a Monday holiday. Things aren’t all bad. I’m going to savor the last day that I can drive to work without a headache and I’m going to enjoy the day with a telephone that hardly rings. Now, if I could just have tomorrow off, that’d be cool.

Since there’s little more to say, here’s some Labor Day links to keep me occupied while at work:

Rick Caminiti is a blogger from Saint Louis who is not only a St. Louis Rams’ fan, he’s a Cardinals fan as well, and yet, he doesn’t hate my Patriots/Red Sox lovin’ ass. :D

Riggs in Boston says what everyone else thinks and for that, I love him.

Scott over at Patriots Daily offers his thoughts on Rodney Harrison and I think I couldn’t have said it better myself.

My sister and I were just discussing how retarded it is for an SUV driver to drive slowly over speed bumps when we thought the whole point of an SUV was to easily cruise down mountain trails and treacherous roads, like we constantly see in the commercials. Lisa agrees. One other thought: Luxury Sports Utility Vehicle an oxymoron?

Oh, and I won a part of the Bloggers Challenge at Onemansgoal.

I'm a WINNER
