The return of Office Cat
After a visit a few weeks ago, Office Cat (the adjacent convenience store owner’s cat) returned to my office today. Again, I think he got in through the building’s basement which really makes me wonder if they’re leaving him down there all the time to catch mice. Honestly, how many people bring their pets with them to work. Seeing eye dog, sure. Police dog, definitely. Three month old (I’m guessing) kitten, wait a minute…. AND, the poor little guy has fleas so huge, I could see them crawling on his face. I don’t like that crap. Give your pet a stinkin’ flea bath. To me, it just seems cruel and lazy.
Anyway, Office Cat (as I will refer to him from now on) stayed with me almost all day. He even followed me out on my cigarette breaks.
One customer was surprised by his presence. “Uh, do you know you have a, uh, cat running around in here?” Yes, Sir and he is welcome to stay.
By the end of the day, he was snoozing in the chair behind me. What a cutie! I wonder if he’ll be visiting tomorrow? I also think it is kind of cool that I had begged for an office cat and now I sort of have one.

until the NFL Draft!

You hang around a flea infested cat, do you think thats wise? Fleas transfer to other dontcha know!
Hey, I wasn’t rubbing the thing. He just hung out.
You should’ve seen it. It was nasty, you could see this black dot pop out of one part of his face and the disappear. Gross.
He’s cute! Maybe you could keep him and give him the flea bath.
hey you can call the cat cats purr…(pronounced casper)
Frontline is about $12.00…and will kill the hell out of those fleas. It will make you sleep better at night.
