Baseball?! On a Sunday?!

Yes, hell may have gotten slightly chilly today as I opted to watch a little bit of baseball instead of football. I can explain… both the Broncos and Tampa Bay were having their asses handed to them and the Boston Red Sox of Boston were pretty damn close to sweeping the California Anaheim Disneyland LA Angels of Anaheim. I guess it was a no-brainer. I was surprised TBS was showing batting practice on TV but then I realized it wasn’t batting practice but it was actually the eighth inning.

It remains to be seen who the Sox will play since the Yankees beat Cleveland tonight. I guess Joe Torre’s job is safe for another day. I wonder if George Steinbrenner was taking advice from A.J. Smith when he made the statement that if the Yankees lost, Joe Torre was out. He brings the Yankees to the playoffs every year! I mean, geez. If I was Torre, I would’ve quit by throwing tonight’s game. That’d would’ve been funny.

But, it still is Sunday so of course I watched the New England Patriots of Foxborough play our old friends, the Cleveland Browns. It was great to see Willie McGinest again and like Tom Brady said, “He’s a Patriot as far as I’m concerned.” He’ll always be a Patriot. I LOVE Willie McGinest!

Go Sox! Go Pats! Yikes, I’m tired.
