Bills fan for a night

Last night’s Monday Night Football game with Dallas at Buffalo was, like, wow. I thought it was going to be one boring blow-out, much along the lines of San Diego at Denver or Tampa at Indy. I was WRONG!

Buffalo put everything into that game. My dad and I were talking about how Buffalo is one of those teams that, no matter how badly their season is going, they enter each game pumped and energized. They don’t just go through the motions like some other teams (Raiders last year, for example). They were so pumped last night and playing so well, I was rooting for them so hard even though I don’t think it’d be in the best interests of the Patriots to have to play a Dallas team that just got upset on a Monday night. Ya know, teams can be a lot more focused after a bad loss. I was so heartbroken in those last seconds when Dallas kicked the winning field goal. I don’t hate Dallas, I don’t care if they win or lose (except for next week 😉 ), but you just couldn’t help but root for Buffalo last night.

I wasn’t too happy the Yankees lost last night either. I know this goes against everything I believe in but I would rather see the Yankees play the Red Sox than Cleveland. Well, now that their baseball seasons are officially over, at least New Yorkers still have the Jets… oooooooooooh, right. I won’t insult the Giants because I do love me some Tiki Barber… ooooooooooh, right. 😉

Would you guys think differently of me if I admitted that I love Britney Spears’ new song, “Gimmie More”?

Defending the Geek: Tony Kornheiser = not so bad

The epiphany that was Patriots @ Dallas

  1. I’ll admit, that game was a bit more interesting than I expected it to be. Though, I cannot freaking WAIT until a kicker misses a FG, then realizes he gets another chance since the other team’s coach called a retarded timeout before finally nailing the second attempt. What a glorious day that will be.

  2. ha ha I never thought of that. You can’t really blame these coaches for trying because it is legal to do.

  3. I was rooting for the Bills the other night too. I am glad the MFY are out of it though. I can live without the whole ‘THE RIVALRY’ drama for once.

  4. I think the rivalry got real old after the ’04 ALCS. I wonder how the boys will handle the Jacobs Field infestation? That’s just gross.

  5. mad-knits

I also think that song is quite catchy..

  6. I can’t believe I didn’t stay up for that game! What the hell am I doing trying to be healthy!?!? I won’t sleep in another MNF game for the rest of the season!

  7. Meow

Those bugs’ll be dead by Friday. 😀

  8. just too bad there is no channel on the free tv in germany where i can watch this games. i love football. i love to watch it and i love to play it.

  9. Yeah, tough loss for Buffalo, but they are used to it. I don’t understand how Dallas keeps winning with Romo – he’s deceiving. I’d say they’d give your Pats a game, but I don’t think so.
Yankees – Bosox is definitely more intriguing, but I’d watch yourself with these Indians. They have TONS of confidence right now.

  10. let’s see how Dallas will do in the next game 🙂
