Alright, who sold their soul to the devil?

Tribe Time Expired

What the hell is going on here… The Patriots are 7-0 with no signs of slowing down, Boston College surpassed LSU for the #2 spot in the rankings, BFFs Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are gearing up for the Celtics, the Bruins are resting comfortably at 5-2 and even the New England Revolution (they’re our MLS team if you didn’t know) are headed to the playoffs. Oh, and by the way, the Red Sox are GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES! This. is. scary.

“The champagne tastes just as good on the road as it does at home.” – Cleveland’s Ryan Garko. Hey Garko, maybe Papelbon will share some with you while he does the Irish jig over first base. (Although I do think that comment was taken out of context, hell, I’m excited.)

Do you believe in jinxes? I can’t really say much about baseball, but I can name a few in football… like Pittsburgh renting hotel rooms in New Orleans before the AFC Championship in 2001 or what about San Diego planning the Super Bowl victory celebration before the team even PLAYED a playoff game last year.

The only thing that sucks about the Sox in the World Series is tomorrow’s “Patriots Monday” on WEEI will be overshadowed but that’s OK. I’ll live. 😀

Choosing Allegiance – Red Sox or Patriots

You can almost hear the violins playing their sad, sad song

  1. I can’t believe they pulled it off again…but i’m happy they did

  2. We have it so good right now. I don’t know how to put it into words. I am speechless. 🙂

  3. What a time for Boston sports. Did you hear that the NFL is investigating the Patriots? Yeah, they’re not quite sure that Brady is human.

  4. The sox should just go down 3-0 and then start playing, since it seems they play better from behind.

  5. We are at the point where we can understand why the world hates the yanks. Because we are so awesome and devastating, people are annoyed at our talent.
Now, I hate the skanks as much as anyone on the planet, but I get it. Every so often, a city is so dominant, so incredible, that it’s just not fair. That’s us right now.
    Damn it feels good.
    You going to blogtoberfest?

  6. We are all spoiled and I, for one, am not complaining. 😀

    Where’s blogtoberfest?

  7. Wow! Thats extremely amazing considering that just a few years ago Boston sports were barely on the map of most of the country and now they have not one, but two professional teams doing phenomenally well and even at the lower levels the teams are doing good.

What are they putting in the water in Boston? (just kidding)

  8. I’d be interested in hearing more about what this blogtoberfest is, because I’ve never heard of it!

  9. All the details of blogtoberfest can be found at:

  10. Unfortunately, Boston is a bit far away for me, otherwise I would love to go! I’ve always wanted to visit Boston though, maybe I’ll have to plan the trip around blogtoberfest some year.
