Patriots FINALLY return from bye to face Buffalo

Andre Tippett vs Bills It’s been so long since the last time I saw the Patriots play, it feels like it’s been 20 years! And I’m still waiting. It’s barely 8 o’clock and I don’t think I can wait another minute. Today’s game was supposed to be a 1 o’clock kickoff. I hate this Flex Scheduling.

I mean, I understand the point of Flex Scheduling – it should prevent another primetime yawnfest like San Francisco at Seattle, but why do they have to move all the Patriots’ games? Oh well, there’s nothing I can do about it.

Tonight the Patriots will take on the resurgent Buffalo Bills. I’m sure I have mentioned this before, and I know Ernie agrees, but it’s just hard to hate Buffalo. I just don’t have the same level of animosity for the Bills as I do for the Jets and Miami. Plus, I love Dick Jauron. You know he grew up down the street from me, right? You didn’t? Well, you do now.

I’m anticipating an exciting game tonight. The Bills always show up to play at home. If things go my way, the Patriots will finish tonight 10-0 and I’ll be able to get into bed before midnight.

Go Pats!

  1. Definitely don’t feel the same about Buffalo as Miami and NJ, I mean NYJ. It is a great rivalry but not a hateful rivalry.

Right now the 2nd Q is winding down and the Pats are up 28-7. Nice.
