I’ve come to the conclusion everyone is stupid
I’ve just gone and had it with Planet Earth and its inhabitants. Yep, we earthlings have crossed the line from merely blowing things out of proportion to going completely apeshit over the most insanely ridiculous things ever. And by insanely ridiculous I mean the NHL suspending Sean Avery for referring to his ex as “sloppy seconds.”
Can someone tell me when “sloppy seconds” became offensive to women? I thought the phrase could just as easily be applied to men? Now, if he called her a See You Next Thursday we’d have story.
If I was God for a day, I’d load up a rocketship with all the people who were offended by Avery’s statement, those who want to trade Tom Brady, people who don’t use their blinkers when driving, and pop in psychopath Fred Phelps and a few of his followers for good luck, and shoot that sucker off on a direct collision course with the sun.
