“My beloved Dale & Holley” Are you kidding? Granted, The Sports Hub has a weak line-up I agree. Dale Arnold is nothing without the sats and information in front of him. Dale is critical of just about anyone who has a contrary . my opinion, his 15 min. are up. His voice is akin to what you’d hear on Queer Eye for the Streight Guy. Believe me, Dale’s not the peach you would think, he’s WEEI’s sacred cow and pet of Jason Wolfe. Dale can’t stand critisism, and is as much a diva as Lindsey Lohan.

I have never heard of this site before today’s link on Boston Sports Media but I couldn’t agree more. You absolutely nailed why I won’t be listening to the new sports channel in town, even though I would love to see someone knock eei off their high hoarse.

This time the competition for WEEI will be more severe, simply because of the reach & clarity of the FM signal. Here in southern New Hampshire, that matters. But content is king, and an irritating host on a clear channel won’t woo listeners. We don’t want a show hosted by contrarians, either. You earn no stripes for proudly going against the grain in hopes that you can gush later how ‘right’ you ended up being.

I totally agree about the ‘eei callers. That’s what of the worst parts of ‘eei. I don’t really like any of the callers. I really only like Dale and Holley during the day and Planet Mikey at night.

have you ever noticed how boring WEEI becomes when they have three days of David Ortiz “roids” talk, or its celebrity callers and shutins talking about the same tired Boston topics?

Get people who know something and have them interview people who know stuff. Talk about somethings beyond 128 for a change. Fitzy and Barstool sprots don’t know nothing more than what they stumbled across on boston.com or deadspin.

How dare I want a Boston (emphasis on “Boston”) sports talk station to be partial to Boston (emphasis on “Boston”) teams?! *gasps and shocked moans abound* If I want impartial, I will stream a national station.

And no, dear, I never suggested the world revolves around the “Hub” and the “Hub” revolve around me. Hmm, in fact I don’t think I’d even want the world to revolve around the hub as it revolved around me. That’s a lot of revolving and I don’t care to be the center of things.

Wow. A Masshole meets the modern world.

There are sports teams and commentators who do not blindly follow the concept that all Boston is good and holy for as long as they play in the sacred grounds. There are shareholders who realize that the concept of kissing ass may not draw the highest ratings.

So sorry, dear, but the world doesn’t revolve around the Hub, and the Hub doesn’t revolve around you.

My question is when in the world did Nick Stevens become ‘Fitzy’? His name isn’t Fitzgerald, so this moniker makes no sense. Why doesn’t he use his real name like he did on ESPN’s Dream Job?

As for your feelings on Massarotti, do you not give people a second chance? I will fully agree that the column he wrote ripping the Boston sports fans is far from his best, but generally he is a knowledgeable guy on sports and has already formed a pretty good on-air chemistry with Felger in their first show this afternoon.
