Shocker of the millennium! A new report released today discovered the T sucks. In other stunning news, the sky is blue, snow is cold, and the Yankees suck.

As a daily T rider, I’m happy to hear that Governor Patrick refuses to allow any fare hike until the MBTA’s mounting problems are resolved but I can’t complain too much because I have completely cut the most problematic route, the Red Line, out of my commute. As I’ve mentioned before, I opt to take the EZ Ride from my office to North Station and hopping on the Orange Line from there. Aside from the frequent “medical emergencies,” delays aren’t very common on the Orange Line (and I do realize I just totally jinxed my morning commute).

The one downside to the Orange Line is each car has a distinct odor of bad breathe and fart. Why is that? Can someone explain that to me?

I also just realized that if I was still working at the newspaper, today being the day after municipal elections AND production day, I’d probably be at the office until 3 or 4 a.m. I’d still have a miserable six hours to go!!! Good Lord, do I love my job!
