It’s the last night of NaBloPoMo and it happens to fall on a huge Monday night Patriots game. Tonight, the Patriots face the unbeaten New Orleans Saints. It seems like just yesterday I was consoling my old internet pal, Becca, a hapless Saints fan who dreamed of a season like that my Patriots enjoyed. Here it is, Becca. It’s pretty awesome, isn’t it?

So, I’m impatiently waiting for this game to start. And if the Patriots don’t win, I have a weird feeling it’s going to signal a Super Bowl victory for the Patriots. I’ll elaborate later.

Oh boy, oh boy.

Here’s another gem straight from my phone (mostly because I’ve reached new heights of laziness and can’t be bothered to sit up from my couch).

I really hate Sundays when the Patriots aren’t playing. Watching all the other games are just a tease.

So, to keep myself happy without a Patriots game, I ended up splurging by making pancakes (which were AWESOME) and go tanning.

And now, while I watch the intense Baltimore – Pittsburgh game, I’m dreading how late I’ll be up tomorrow night.

I am really wiped out. I just didn’t feel like failing NaBloPoMo with only a couple days left.

I’m sorry (no I’m not).

I somehow managed to survive a Black Friday at the stores. Remind me how absolutely horrible it was next year so I won’t ever do something so stupid again. I don’t think I saved any money, I didn’t end up buying much of anything except crap for myself, and I felt homicidal by the time we hit the second store.

Today, I also realized that shopping with the boyfriend sucks. I love him to bits but an afternoon at the mall with him is worse than visiting the RMV during lunch hour.

Yes, a test post counts toward NaBloPoMo. I also get extra points because I downloaded the app and wrote and posted it from the train during rush hour. Go me!

Thanksgiving is slowly becoming my favorite holiday. Gone are the days when an all-out beer binging Fourth of July reigned supreme. I had a nice day; dinner and dessert with my dad’s family and coffee and more dessert with my mom’s family. I was also blessed to have boyfriend with me at both.

During dinner, my aunt got all sappy, forcing us all to say things we are thankful for. I set the tone by stating my thankfulness for Bill Belichick. In all seriousness, I am thankful for many things in addition to Bill Belichick and the Patriots. I’m thankful for having a great family, a gorgeous boyfriend (yeah, I’m shallow – what of it?), and a great job.

And now, I can sit back and enjoy the Denver Broncos – NY Giants game, even with the occasional Josh McDaniels F-bomb (FYI, NFL Network has very crisp sideline audio). I’m also going to have more pie.
